"The best Rock'n'Roll band in the world!" That's what Munich's Süddeutsche Zeitung says anyway, while the Abendzeitung tells the story of how we put smiles on many a hard mans' face when we played at Munich's Stadelheim prison. Playboy Magazine said our most recent studio effort Welcome To The Club was the perfect party album.

So what's our style? We don't know really. Call it roots Rock'n'Roll, but that doesn't cover some of the more oddball influences like Klezmer, or Balkan music. Add to that a healthy dose of Country, Western Swing, Rockabilly, Blues, Bluegrass, Soul (think Stax & Motown), Jazz, Folk and even Gospel and you're getting close to the truth.

The TriSonics come in different sizes and shapes: First, of course there's TS Classic, or the trio that is the backbone of the band, equipped with electric guitar, double bass and drums. Add to that a trumpet and Saxophone and you have Swingin' TS. Then there's the acoustic duet we call Double TS, and TS Light, with Derek all by his lonesome on acoustic guitar and vocals. And finally, there's TS to go, our walking act, suited for trade show and receptions.

"Die beste Rock'n'Roll-Band von Obergiesing bzw. der ganzen Welt" schrieb die Süddeutsche Zeitung. Und die Abendzeitung meinte über unser Konzert im Münchner Gefängnis Stadelheim: "Die Rock'n'Roll-Songs zaubern so manchem harten Burschen ein seliges Lächeln aufs Gesicht." unser Album Welcome To The Club lobt der Playboy: "die ideale Platte für die nächste Party."

Was wir für einen Stil machen? Sagen wir mal Roots Rock'n'Roll, mit Einflüssen von Country, Western Swing, Rockabilly, Blues, Bluegrass, Soul, Jazz, Folk, Gospel und sogar Musik vom Balkan. Seit 2003 haben wir insgesamt fünf CDs veröffentlicht mit eigenen Werken und überraschenden Versionen bekannter Songs.

Die TriSonics gibt es in unterschiedlichen Konstellationen: Als Trio mit E-Gitarre, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug - TS Classic! Kommen Trompete und Saxofon dazu, wird daraus Swingin' TS. Dann gibt's uns noch als Akustik-Duett, als Double TS. Und TS Light mit Derek als Alleinunterhalter an Akustikgitarre und Gesang. Schließlich bieten wir noch TS to go an, als "walking act" ideal für Messen und Empfänge.
